Biotechyst was founded in 2021 with a mission to provide valuable insights into the biotechnology industry and the companies which operate in it.
About the founder
Hi there, my name is Alex. My journey started with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, followed by almost 5 years working in the financial sector. During my time working I wrote and passed all three CFA exams in an effort to broaden my knowledge of investments. Thereafter, given my passion for the sciences, I left my job to pursue a masters degree (MPhil) in Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge.

I started Biotechyst to bring together my two passions - biotechnology and investments.
